Donate Your Bike

If you have an unwanted bike that is gathering dust or getting in the way, then you can donate your bike to us. We would like to take it off your hands and recycle it and we may even come to collect it.

Maybe you’ve bought yourself a new one, or have given up trying to mend the one you have.

Either way, we’ll take it off your hands and if you’re in or around Manchester, we may even come to collect it.

Donating your bike to the Bike Workshop is a great way to help someone else get around and giving us your bike will prevent a bike from going into landfill or being recycled for scrap.

We will use it to train our volunteers or renovate it and sell it to raise funds to train up our volunteers to be bike mechanics.

If you donate your bike, your donation will help make Manchester Cycling Academy CIC more sustainable. Not only will it help us to get more people active, it will help to reduce carbon emissions and reduce the amount of metal sent to landfill, it will help us raise funds to continue with our community activities.

All you need to do is to contact us via WhatsApp to the right of the page and we will do the rest. If you live close to our workshop at the Boiler House you can drop it off at any time,
