Part-Time Admin Coordinator

We have a mission to get more people on bikes, more often. Based in a vibrant repurposed power station in Moss Side, we work with a growing number of groups throughout the city of Manchester and beyond to encourage people from all backgrounds onto bikes whether that is for sport or transport .

We’re breaking down the barriers to participation into established pathways into competitive bike riding through our community programes and we’re looking for a suitable person to join us.

We’re on the lookout for a flexible, detail-oriented and proactive person to join our team. This part-time position is crucial in ensuring our bike workshop and administrative functions run smoothly and is central to the success of #Project100, our target of refurbishing and recycling 100 bikes over the next twelve months.

You’ll be the key person in our workshop and will be required to work every Friday and Saturday along with other team members, with a view to expanding the role as we grow further.

We’re looking for a people person – bike skills and expertise isn’t the most important factor for us – having experience and ideas from other industries and the ability to work with people is.

What You’ll be Doing:

– Customer Service: Manage enquiries, bookings and ensure high customer satisfaction.

– Administrative Support: Oversee supplies, equipment, invoicing, and coordinate with suppliers.

– Data Management: Maintain accurate records and prepare reports when needed

– Event Coordination Help organise community events and manage logistics.

– Social Media & Marketing: Support our social media efforts and marketing campaigns.

– Sales: Assist with selling refurbished bikes.

– Volunteer Development: Work on volunteer strategies alongside the rest of the team and be a contact point for volunteers.

What We’re Looking For from You:

– Strong organisational and time management skills.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

– Proficiency using Microsoft Office 

– A passion for learning and helping others.

– Flexibility and a desire to improve and grow in a collaborative environment.

Working Hours: 2 days per week, 6 hours per day. 3 Month initial contract.
